FAQ

Questions brands ask us

Short answers to what UAE sellers ask before they start on Ozon.

Do I need a company in Russia?

No. Ozon Global lets foreign companies sell to Russian buyers with their own company and bank account.

Who owns the Ozon account?

You do. The account is registered to your company. If we stop working together, the store, listings and reviews stay with you.

How and in what currency am I paid?

Ozon pays your company’s bank account under your Ozon Global agreement. Payouts are made in USD; the payout schedule is set in your Ozon Global agreement.

We recommend telling your bank in advance that you will receive marketplace payouts.

Do I need to send stock to Russia?

No. Each order ships as a parcel from the UAE to an Ozon pickup point. Nothing is stored in Russia.

Do I need Chestny Znak labelling?

Not for parcels sent to individual buyers. Labelling is required only when goods are imported in bulk to warehouses in Russia.

Which products can’t be sold?

Perishable food, food that cannot be kept at 17–24 °C, supplements without Russian registration, counterfeit goods and anything under sanctions. Some categories have extra rules, so we check every product.

How long until the first sales?

Usually [X] weeks from signing. It depends on the category, listings and ad budget.

How much does it cost?

A one-time launch fee, a monthly management fee and a share of sales. See the pricing page.

Can I stop working with you?

Yes, after the minimum term of [3 months] with [30 days] notice. You keep your account and everything in it.

How do you handle sanctions?

We check every product and company against sanctions lists before signing and do not work with restricted goods.
